BM Catalysts helps deliver a Car SOS restoration that really matters

Car SOS fans can expect more than just engineering brilliance this week, as BM Catalysts plays a key role in a heartfelt restoration story, airing on National Geographic at 8pm on Thursday 16 April.

In the latest episode, the BM Catalysts team is called upon to solve a complex challenge: creating a one-off catalytic converter for a much-loved 1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R. With no ready-made solution available, the project demanded ingenuity, precision and a genuine passion for the craft.

But this wasn’t just another engineering job.

Working alongside the Car SOS team, BM Catalysts embraced the opportunity to be part of something bigger helping to restore a car for someone who truly deserved it. It’s a story rooted in a shared love of cars, where technical expertise meets personal pride, and where every detail matters not just for performance, but for the person behind the wheel.

From initial assessment through to the final installation, the team approached the build with the same care and commitment that defines their everyday work, only this time, with cameras rolling and a deeply meaningful end result in sight.

The finished solution didn’t just bring the Pulsar back to compliance, it helped return a cherished car to the road, ready to be enjoyed once again.

Don’t miss this special episode, where passion, teamwork and craftsmanship come together to show what’s possible when car lovers unite for a truly worthwhile cause.
